SRC "ELECTRON-CARAT"​

Founded in 1972 in Lviv (then USSR) as the Lviv Research & Development Institute of Materials, serving as a premier institution under the Soviet Ministry of Radio‑Industry in radio‑electronic materials science.

Later reorganized into the Scientific Production Association “Carat” and became integrated into PJSC Concern‑Electron upon its formation.

Its “National Heritage” laboratory facilitates cutting-edge research and production of advanced materials for quantum electronics, optoelectronics, spintronics, bioelectronics, sensorics, and more.

Subjects of published retrospectives reflect its scientific achievements: notable overviews celebrating 45 and 50 years of innovation and partnerships.

Maintains long-standing global collaborations with industry and academic partners in Europe, North America, Asia, and beyond
